About us:

Our small house, located directly on the Kulturufer (Hindenburgpark) on the edge of the city centre of Bingen am Rhein, has 3 modernly furnished apartments of different sizes. The property is believed to date back to 1890 and was extensively renovated and modernised in 2020.
  • Soundproof windows and insulated facade (no train or car noise!) and individually adjustable air conditioning systems in all apartments.
  • All bedrooms (partly except apartment on the 3rd floor) are located to the quiet courtyard.
  • Beds: The double box spring beds in  all Appartments are 180 cm wide each. For the sofa beds each with spring core mattresses.
  • High-quality fitted kitchens (induction/recirculation/freezer, dishwasher, etc.) and spacious bathrooms (approx. 8 sqm) with rain showers (sometimes also with bathtub).
  • New, modern and comfortable furniture
  • TV sets in all rooms (including bedrooms) with multimedia integration, fast Wi-Fi in all apartments and rooms (100 mbit/s).
  • TV programs are unlocked: Waipu-TV (approx. 150 channels) and Amzon Prime-Video - additionally streaming from mobile phone/laptop to TV on all devices.
  • All units have a balcony of 2nd floor, loggia (3rd floor) or terrace (EC).
  • The equipment in the kitchen (pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc.) is complete down to all the details.
  • Consumables such as coffee beans, milk, sugar, vinegar/oil, rinsing and Detergents, toilet paper, etc. are available free of charge and are sufficient for stays of up to 3 days.
  • In each apartment there is also a coffee machine.
  • All apartments (living room) have a view of the Rhine and unobstructed views of the Niederwald monument and vineyards (sh. Photos with motifs that can actually be viewed from the individual apartments).
  • From the "Rheinkai 11" it is only a few minutes walk to the old town of Bingen and only a few meters to the listed Hindenburg park, which is the starting point for romantic Rhine cruises and meeting point for all wine lovers. Right next to the Museum am Strom, the "Hildegarten" can be seen in reference to Hildegard von Bingen's medically knowledgeable writing "Physica". In addition to the herbs and plants, a fountain as an allegory is worth seeing on its pure teaching. Other top sights include the Binger Mausturm, Klopp Castle, St. Rochus Chapel, Basilica of St. Martin and the old Rhine Crane from 1487. From the jetties (approx. 150 m from the property) you can take the Rhine ships for beautiful excursions (e.B. Castle Cruise, Loreley) and hikes (e.B. from Assmannshausen via the Niederwalddenkmal to Rüdesheim). Restaurants, cafés and shopping can be found nearby. Public transport (bus station, city station/main station) can be reached within walking distance.

Rules

Dear guests!

Our apartments should be a second home for you. You should be able to feel good and rest. We have put a lot of effort into setting it up and hope you find everything you need.

The following house rules are intended as an aid for a harmonious stay. We have also listed some rules that we hope you will understand.

By treating the apartment properly, you will help us in the future to offer you and other guests satisfactory rooms.

General

Should you miss anything in the facility or if you need help, please do not hesitate to contact us. All things that are in the apartment or on the balcony or terrace, or belong to it, may and should be used by the guests. Please handle all furnishings and inventory carefully and treat the rental property with care. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

kitchen

Please handle the kitchen equipment and technical devices with care. Since a dirty kitchen does not please anyone, please only put dishes, pots and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots and other hot items on the tables or countertop without coasters. Always use a cutting board as a base for cutting. Please leave the interior of the oven clean.

Damage

Nobody deliberately damages things, but it can happen to anyone that something breaks. We would be happy if you inform us of the damage incurred and we do not find it after your departure during the final cleaning. The tenant is liable for damage in the amount of the replacement costs.

Ventilation

To avoid the formation of mold, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes and especially after showering. Alternatively, please use our air conditioning.

Due diligence

We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers and relatives also adhere to the rental conditions. The entrance door should always be closed. All windows must also be closed when leaving the apartment in order to avoid possible damage from storms or burglary. The resources of water and electricity must be used sparingly. Disposal Please only use cosmetic bins in the bathroom with garbage bags and dispose of them closed in the residual waste bin. No waste, leftover food, harmful liquids or the like may be thrown or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, wash basins and showers! Avoid anything that can lead to clogging of the lines (no hygiene items in the toilet). Cleaning Should a mishap (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.) happen to you, we ask you to rectify this immediately. We ask you to leave the apartment swept clean on departure and to put all used dishes back in the cupboards.

Rest periods

In the interests of a good neighborhood, we ask you to observe the public rest times such as lunch, night and Sunday rest. Out of consideration, silence should also be kept in the holiday apartment between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

wireless Internet access

The use of the Internet with your own WLAN-enabled device (notebook, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the WLAN connection is free for the tenant. You use the Internet at your own risk; the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's use of the Internet. When using the Internet access via WLAN, the WLAN usage rules must also be taken into account. But please understand that we (must) protect ourselves against misuse with a signature on our part. Smoke

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment - exceptions: terrace on the ground floor, balcony on the 2nd floor, loggia on the 3rd floor. (each with the door to the apartment closed) Pets Bringing pets is not allowed. Domiciliary right If repairs are necessary immediately, it can be essential that the landlord has to enter the apartment without the knowledge of the guest.

Keys

Please never let the keys out of your hand. A loss of the keys must be reported immediately and the guest is liable up to the amount of the replacement costs. liability The landlord is not liable for valuables belonging to the guest (s).

Arrival and departure

Arrival is from 3:00 p.m. or by arrangement. On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate the apartment by 12:00 noon at the latest. When you leave, the apartment should look the way you found it. By booking an apartment, we assume that the house rules are recognized.

Hygiene concept for private holiday apartments Rheinkai 11, 55411 Bingen am Rhein Owners: Wolfgang Christl, Nathalie Zimmermann The following hygiene concept was developed by the above owners. Sanitary and behavior rules All rules and measures are subject to the 29th Corona Control Ordinance Rhineland-Palatinate (29th CoBeLVO), decided on December 3, 2021. For more detailed information, we refer to Part 1 §3. And Part 2 §10 of the above-mentioned ordinance (2 G) Arrival and moving in: - Hygiene and rules of conduct are located at the front door, in the hallway and are also given to the guests on arrival, or are clearly visible in the holiday apartment. - In order to make the check-in as fast as possible, we offer the guests the possibility of an online check-in before their arrival. - Upon arrival and the associated transfer of information regarding everything relating to the apartment and the stay, the guests and the host must wear a medical mask or FFP2 mask. - Contact details (date, first and last name, address, telephone number and email address) are to be collected and kept by the host for six weeks. These are to be handed over to the health department if so requested. - Without the requested data, no check-in is possible. - We rent the holiday apartment in accordance with the current Corona Protection Ordinance of the state RLP. - We ask for cashless payment as possible. - When the guest arrives, there is a control slip for the previous cleaning of the apartment in each holiday apartment, which has been signed by the host. - Each guest is provided with a linen package consisting of a large bath towel, two towels and one or two guest towels. We also provide two kitchen towels, separately packaged medical masks / FFP2 masks and hand disinfectant gel. Stay: - The posted / laid out rules regarding distance and hygiene must be observed by all guests (e.g. use hand disinfection in the entrance area when entering the house) - Avoid long stays in the common entrance area and in the stairwell. We ask you to walk through the area quickly and to adhere to the mask requirement. We also ask that you adhere to the distance regulation if you meet guests or hosts in this area. - We kindly ask you not to have visitors in the holiday home. - The holiday apartment must be ventilated regularly via the fresh air exchange of the air conditioning system. In addition, there is an air purification device in each holiday apartment, which is in operation for at least six hours after. Any household waste, especially used handkerchiefs or used masks, must be disposed of in a knotted plastic bag in the residual waste bin. Departure: - You are asked to leave the apartment in a tidy condition and to take all leftover food, magazines or other items with you, or alternatively dispose of them in the garbage. - The beds are to be put on by the guests and the used bed linen and used towels, including kitchen towels, are to be collected in a pile in the bathroom. - The check-out is to be as short as possible and, of course, to be as low-contact as possible. What to do in the event of Covid 19 symptoms: - If symptoms typical for Covid-19 occur, a local doctor should be contacted immediately. Alternatively, it is also possible to notify the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV) via telephone number 116117. This will then decide whether a smear should be carried out and what other measures should be taken. - The guest in question must first isolate himself in the holiday home and follow the instructions of the doctor, the KV or the health department. - In the event of positive evidence, the laboratory will report to the health department, which will then initiate further steps. - Guests who tested positive must return to their home town immediately. Exceptions and special regulations are only made by order of the health department. Hygiene measures by the host: - After a guest has left, each holiday apartment is adequately ventilated through the fresh air exchange of the air conditioning system and the existing air purifier. - All surfaces (including light switches and doorknobs) and utensils in the holiday apartments are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before arrival. - The communal stairwell and the entrance area are also cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals, this also applies to the communal washing machines, dryers and the iron in the laundry room.
